This notice explains how Pink Mobile Ltd collects and uses your personal data when you visit pinkmobile.uk, create an account or buy a Pink Global eSIM. We are the controller of your data under UK data protection law.
1. Who we are
Pink Mobile Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16658829. Contact us about your data at hello@pinkmobile.uk.
2. Data we collect
Account details: your name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form) and the country you live in.
Order details: the plans you buy, when you bought them, payment status and VAT receipts. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
Service data: your eSIM's identifiers, when it connects, and how much data it uses, which our network partners share with us to run your plan.
Website data: the country your visit comes from (to show a guide price in your currency) and cookie-free, aggregated analytics about how the site is used.
3. Why we use it
To provide your account and eSIMs, and support you (contract).
To keep tax and accounting records, and respond to lawful requests (legal obligation).
To prevent fraud and misuse, keep the service secure and improve it (our legitimate interests).
To send you offers and news, only if you've agreed. You can opt out at any time (consent).
4. Who we share it with
Network partners who connect your eSIM; our payment provider; the services that host our website and send our emails; and our professional advisers. Each acts on our instructions or under their own data protection duties. We never sell your data.
We may disclose data where the law requires it, for example to the police or a regulator.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. When they do, we use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account is open and two years after it closes. Order and tax records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK law requires. Service usage data for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@pinkmobile.uk. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies and storage
We set one small cookie (pm_cc) that remembers which country your visit comes from, so we can show a guide price in your currency, and we store your currency choice in your browser. Our analytics do not use cookies. We don't use advertising cookies.
9. Children
Pink Global is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
