eSIM policy
Last updated 1 November 2026
How Pink Global eSIMs work, from buying to the last megabyte. This policy forms part of our terms of service.
Compatible phones
Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. Most iPhones from the XS and XR onwards, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and Google Pixel 3 and newer support eSIM. To check any phone, dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, it supports eSIM.
Installing
Install your eSIM at home on Wi-Fi before you travel. Installing does not start your plan. Most eSIMs can be installed only once, so don't delete it from your phone until your plan has ended.
When your plan starts and ends
Your plan starts the first time your eSIM connects to a network in a covered country. It ends when you've used all your data or the validity period runs out, whichever comes first. Unused data does not roll over.
Coverage and speed
Plans use local partner networks on 4G, and 5G where available and supported by your phone. Coverage and speed depend on the network, your device and your location.
Hotspot and data only
Every plan includes hotspot. Plans are data only, with no phone number, calls or texts. You can keep your usual SIM active for calls and texts.
Top-ups
You can add data from your Pink account at any time while your eSIM is installed.
Fair use
Plans are for personal use. Reselling plans, using them in SIM boxes or bulk-routing equipment, or unlawful use is not allowed and may lead to suspension.
Faults and refunds
If your eSIM doesn't work, email hello@pinkmobile.uk with your order number. We'll troubleshoot with you and, if needed, replace it. If we can't fix it, we'll refund you. There are no refunds for change of mind once an eSIM has been delivered.
